This beachfront home in Halls Head sold EXTREMELY quickly

There are some things they just don’t make any more.

Coastline is one of those things.

And coastline in a developed nation that doesn’t have a corrupt government is something that truely is a scarce commodity.

Can you imagine what a property like this would cost you on the east coast, say, just north of Sydney, or just south of Gold Coast?

Well, in Mandurah you could have owned this for a bargain of $1.25M.

The home has gone under offer after just its first weekend on the market. There was a busy turnout to the first home open at 17 Magnetic Square in Halls Head on Sunday. The house was fairly well presented and it was pretty clear it was going to sell quickly.

Alison Hobbs was the listing agent for 17 Magnetic Square, Halls Head. I’ve dealt with many real estate agents in the past while trying to purchase a home and I found Alison to be absolutely amazing, going the extra mile for myself as a potential buyer. The sellers made a great choice in appointing Alison Hobbs as their agent.

I took a look at the property myself at the home open, and it ticked most boxes. I personally would have liked a pool as well at that price for the purposes I had in mind. I thought the home was still really well priced at $1.25M.

At times it can be slow moving finding a buyer around that price range. But if you are in the market for home in a higher price bracket, and you would like absolute water front with a heap of bedrooms and space for the family, there just really isn’t that much available on the market.

This home would be particularly useful if you wanted to lock away a part of the home and make it self contained… perhaps for your parents to stay in, or maybe AirBNB guests.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the dark timber flooring throughout. I don’t think it quite suited the beach front aesthetic. But each to his own; it wouldn't be a huge ordeal to change it.

The new owners should be thrilled with their purchase.

Other notes:

  • Photography from balcony does not do the views justice. They really are majestic.

  • Home would be perfect if it had a pool. Space was limited in back yard to add one.

  • Nice park with established trees across road, not that you need that when you have the Indian Ocean as your back yard.
